The Queen Actor Shaka And Isibaya Actor Qaphela Are Brothers In Real Life
SK Khoza who plays the role of Shaka Khoza on The Queen and Abdul Khoza, who plays the role of Qhaphela on Isibaya are brothers in real life.
Naturally competitive, Sthembiso also known as SK was the firstborn of the brothers. He was very good in cricket, rugby, soccer, and karate which he practices to this day. Winning his black belt before he was even a teenager, all signs pointed to this passion becoming career and he studied sports management.
Although his career path took a different turn when he arrived early one day for an interview on a talk show and was mistaken for an actor auditioning for a TV role, and he nailed it! Today he’s an accomplished actor and was recently a finalist for COSMO’s Sexiest Man 2019.
Abdul Khoza got his first big break on Intersexions and is today known for his award-winning role as Qaphela on Isibaya. Qaphela is a hot-headed trained killing machine on Isibaya who has since turned a new leaf and Abdul plays both sides of Qaphela convincingly. Abdul won a SAFTA (South African Film and Television Awards) Golden Horn for his role as Qaphela on Isibaya.
With the demands of work, Abdul has made fitness a routine he practices at home along with his meat-free diet which is another way he stays healthy.
According to a few interviews, the brothers are as different as night from the day as SK has always been a mischievous child and is still making headlines for all the wrong reasons today while Abdul is the more quiet and family-orientated one.
On one occasion, SK said he remembered a time he intentionally left his younger brother at school because he was angry that Abdul didn’t wanna share his lunch with him, despite the fact that SK had the same lunch and ate it earlier
